Ramsey is still stuttering non-stop and its driving us crazy! I’ve been reading about it and supposedly it’s a phase that over 80% of kids go through from 2 to 4 years. “They” say it should only last a few weeks. Geez, I hope!
On a fun note, Rams is almost a pro at pedaling around on her trike. I can’t believe she’s this BIG! The weather around here has been so nice, 60 degrees in January?! A winter with no snow and ice would be great with me especially since we’re having a baby NEXT MONTH {Oy, that’s still sinking in!}.
I must say I was pretty darn tired after my first week (of only 3 days) back to work. I wonder how I’m going to survive the next 7 or 8 weeks…. I really want to work up until my delivery day so I don’t waste any sick days. I think I can, I think I can…
Okay, off to a fun filled family game night. Can’t wait for a great time!
I've been reading your blog for a while...can't remember how I stumbled across it but...I have a niece, who is two weeks away from being 4, and last spring/early summer she started stuttering horribly...it was almost enough to drive us bonkers! But, we took her to be evaluated and basically were told that it was probably something she'd grow out of and just be patient and do not try to "help" her say what she was trying to say. We were just very worried because her dad(my brother) stuttered very badly his whole childhood and still as an adult, he stutters when nervous. But from our experience, she did grow out of it! Good luck to you!
ReplyDeleteps...her stuttering lasted probably 5-6 weeks
