34 Weeks!

34 weeks have arrived and thank the Heavens there’s only 4 weeks to go!  My face---it is ah-swellin’!

There was a news story on last night of a woman who birthed a 14 pound child {bless her heart}.  I had two people tell me today that they “thought of me”.  Well, thanks!

{Ha!  I’m not sure why I thought this pose would be a good idea!?  It does give a better idea of just how ginormous this baby is!}

Yesterday I had an interesting conversation with a first grader in the hallway:

First Grader:  Are you having a baby?

Me:  I hope so.

First Grader:  My mom had a baby.

Me:  Really?  How neat!

First Grader:  My mom has diarrhea.  She has it real bad.

Me:  Oh no.  Well, tell your mom to feel better.

First Grader:  Okay, bye….

I love those little ones----they are just too funny!  And life lesson:  DON’T TELL YOUR CHILDREN ANYTHING!  I actually get the “are you having a baby” question almost daily.  Cracks me up!

And just because there’s a 1% chance that telling of all my ailments might just make me feel better here goes:

indigestion

heartburn

pregnancy insomnia

face swelling

back pain, back pain, back pain!

disconnected pubic bone

stomach skin deadened {yet burns…}

feet swollen {bought man shoes on Saturday}

ribs kicked {and often}

stomach smushed

Surely, there are more---I FEEL like my list is longer!  Either this is going to be a loooong month or maybe I’ll become numb to all my issues and it’ll fly by {fingers crossed}.

Lately, I’ve been asking Ramsey what we should name Baby Sister….she always says the same thing, “Baby Jesus!”  Now that would make things interesting, eh?  Smile

I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow.  I’m excited to find out how big this baby is!  Ramsey was 6 pounds at 33 weeks.  I’m expecting this {big} little sister to be at least 6 pounds.  I would also love a good 4D picture, but I’m not holding my breath….I mean she is lodged head down in my pelvis {right? pelvis? well, somewhere down low….}.

While I was cooking dinner this evening I realized I’m endangering my big ol’ belly!  I think I’ll take the month off----Chef Daddy D to the rescue?!

I am beyond thrilled that as of tomorrow I can say “I’m having a baby THIS month!”   Smile  Finally, there is LIGHT at the end of the tunnel!
