33 Weeks!

I’m 33 weeks today!

Yes, people, I have 5 weeks left and I’m praying I don’t get any BIGGER!  Lord help me!  This pregnancy is on my nerves….literally.  Last night, my sciatic nerve was being pinched in the most excruciating pain.  I was in so much pain that I was paralyzed…while bending over in the living room.  It was ugly….and probably would’ve been comical to an outsider.  Ha!  This, along with rib kicks and a head pushing on my cervix {so Dr. Google tells me…}, makes me beyond ready to have my sweet girl on the outside instead of the inside!!

I was SO excited to wake up and get out of bed this morning----after school my co-workers threw me a baby shower!  I was so happy my mom was able to pick up Ramsey from Vicky’s house so they could come.  We talked about Baby Sister’s shower all morning and she was so excited.  When we walked into Vicky’s she told her, “I’m going to momma’s school to take a shower!”  Smile  Ha!

My shower was “drop by” style in my classroom.  Everyone was so sweet, bringing tons of diapers, wipes, and other precious things.

Ramsey looked adorable in her Big Sister shirt and loved opening presents!  She got excited about every pack of diapers!  She also decided a few things are hers, not sister’s, especially a baby doll and a super soft blanket.

I will admit Ramsey was in rare form.  She was shy, bashful, happy, sad, outgoing, hyper, clingy, and pretty much experienced every emotion a human being can have.  It was either the cookies she kept sneaking off the table or the Terrible Two’s.  Goodness!

After the shower was over the real water works began.  After telling Rams no less than a dozen times to stop playing with the doors, she smashed her fingers.  Don’t worry, it was kind of slow motion and she was fine after a few minutes.  Even though momma tried to warn her, I guess that was just a lesson she needed to learn on her own.  Sad smile  Poor baby girl.

This was such a wonderful day!  I am beyond thankful and shocked at the generosity of my wonderful co-workers!  Smile
