Today I turned 31 weeks! I read back at my 31 week post with Rams and I was all sorts of miserable {and look like it, too}. I can honestly say I feel pretty good at this moment. I am making myself sit more at work and not carry Ramsey around---and that’s making a huge difference!
I am MASSIVE and I know this. I get the “You’re going to POP!”; “Are you sure you’re having just one?”; “You look like you could deliver any second…” comments all day every day. Really, that’s okay, I don’t mind at all….when I look at pictures like these I think the same thing. Ha! ![]()
I know I keep saying this {not sure if I’ve typed it} but this pregnancy is so totally opposite of my pregnancy with Rams. Another major difference: my skin! I think I can count on one hand the number of zits I’ve had in my life. Since July I’ve had TWO! UGH! Still no stretch marks from either pregnancy and I’d like to keep it that way….PRETTY PLEASE!
Now I know this has become down right annoying, but we changed this child’s name again over the weekend. No really. And this is exactly why we don’t go public---we don’t want anyone getting attached to a name…as it may change. Ha!
{These crazies tried to steal my spotlight! Gah, that’s a cute girl!}
Although for the most part things are a-okay at this moment, I must rewind a bit. Saturday night, for the third time this pregnancy, I had the WORST Braxton Hicks contractions. I guess they were Braxton Hicks? I thought the spawn of Satan had entered my body and was taking over. My mom diagnosed me otherwise. I feel for anyone who has to experience a “real” contraction since these occurrences have really been my first uncomfortable contraction experiences. I didn’t have this joy with Rams and of course, had a scheduled c-section. I think I’m being paid back for all times I’ve bragged, “I wouldn’t know a contraction if it slapped me in the face!” I KNOW NOW. GOT IT. THANKS.
When I was preggers with Ramsey I created a little questionnaire for Daddy D and me. {You know back when I had time to kill…} I typed it up and stuck in Ramsey’s baby book. We looked at it tonight and decided we pretty much tied, 3 to 3.
The answers are: 1. September 23rd 2. 7:47 am 3. dark brown 4. slate gray 5. 8 pounds, 6 ounces 6. 21 inches 7. Neither of us, both of us?? 8. yes 9. quiet, soft, sweet—thank goodness! 10. She really was a good baby, very alert and active, but really good!
So of course, having two girls I realize that I’m going to have to do everything equally forever or I will never hear the end of it. So here’s Baby Sister’s questionnaire…
What are the answers? We’ll find out soon!
Ohhhh….the things Ramsey will teach her. Lord help us!
She got in BIG trouble shortly after this…
I don’t think she’ll do it again…for at least a day or two…
31 weeks down…..![]()
