This year for Christmas, we gave goody baskets to our family members and a few others. Homemade gifts are the best! In years past, we’ve done the deer corn neck warmers and honey butter {yummo!}. David had this year’s idea and it sounded scrumptious so we went for it. They turned out really cute and tasty, no doubt.
We filled the baskets with No Bake Cookies {North Pole No Bakes}, Chex Muddy Buddies {Santa’s Snow Chow} along with peanut butter fudge, Reindeer Chow, and chocolate covered peanuts. They all had cutesy names, but a few have left my brain forever. *Dang pregnancy brain shrinkage.* A few of the baskets also had crafty ornaments made by Ramsey and me. I got this idea from Pinterest and they turned out A.DOR.ABLE. I kept this one for myself.
I will never take “goody baskets” for granted ever again. They are a labor of love, for sure.
Every year I ask David over and over, “Where’s this go?”, “How do I arrange this?”, and so on. So I’m getting smart and blogging my Christmas décor so I will wonder no more.
Ramsey’s Tree: Pink, pink, and more pink along with all of her keepsake ornaments and a big tulle bow atop.
She has lots of personalized ornaments, baby’s 1st Christmas, etc.….
She loved having a tree in her room this year. It was about the same size as her and she had a blast decorating and showing it off.
My favorite piece of the Christmas décor pie has to be our stockings. I got them from Pottery Barn two years ago for so cheap {I think $19.99}. They still have them and they’re still that cheap! And don’t worry, I already have Baby #2’s picked out for next year. I also love last year’s Santa and Ramsey picture in the chunky frame—cracks me up!
In our house we all have our own trees…and this is David’s. He loves the white and really wanted a tree in the living room, not just out of sight in the office. This one is pretty simple with lots of red and silver. I guess I should’ve taken a picture when the gifts were still under it---looks a little bare, eh?
And my tree…which is filled with all our keepsake ornaments. We always get an ornament when we go on vacation and a personalized ornament each year. I LOVE this tree the most.

This year’s ornament {from Silver Dollar City}
I love this one from my friend, Melody, the year we got married {yes, I had blonde hair back then so its accurate..ha!}
Ramsey’s bathroom has a few Christmastime touches…
I always put garland with ribbon that matches my tree on the banister. I think I need to spice it up next year…it’s a little dull.
Sadly, I took these pictures yesterday after I had disassembled my entry table, sofa table, and most of my kitchen. Maybe next year I’ll capture everything!
And this is my little dumpling “smiling” for a thank you picture.
{Thank you, Beth, for the Barney and books! She loves them!}
