*I went to the doctor today and had the WEIRDEST appointment ever. My doctor was off delivering a baby so I had to see the nurse. The ultra sound machine was broken so they used a machine circa 1982 as the back-up. I had to drink the thick, orange pop-like drink {which I find to be quite tasty} and give blood for my glucose test. Everything that happened today was out of the ordinary.
*The fun news: Baby Hurt weighs 2 pounds, 11 ounces, which is still right on track. So the nurse said. I read average at 28 weeks gestation is 2.22.
*The BIGGEST news had to be this baby girl sucking her thumb the entire time! The nurse said, “Oh, looks like you’re going to have a thumb-sucker on your hands!” OH NO!!! I’m already plotting a paci and mitten plan to break her from that ASAP!
The messy faced BIG sister buckling in the driver’s seat of my car as she said, “Bye, see you tomorrow!” Ha!
*Ramsey went to her daycare Christmas party while I was at the doctor. They had a gift exchange and she got a baby doll. Good thing a girl can never have too many babies. She loves it!
*She said she had fun and actually didn’t want to leave when I picked her up. Vicki said she kept saying that she doesn’t like Santa Claus. Sounds like she was being a show-off…
Her latest: panties on the inside and outside of her pants.
CHRISTMAS:
*I have a few more things to pick up tomorrow and I’m finished shopping. Hallelujah.
*We’re doing homemade gifts again for our families and a few others.
*I LOVE HOMEMADE ANYTHING!*
*Ramsey said, “Ho, ho, ho, Murray Kissmas” about 900 times today. So cute.
*We are loving the Elf on the Shelf tradition! We’ve had such fun with it the last few days.
Wow, Christmas is in FOUR days!!!
