Ramsey's 1st Halloween!

My little pumpkin had her first Halloween on Saturday! It was such a nice day, we took Ramsey on a walk around the neighborhood and stopped by our neighbor's house to snap a few pictures. We didn't buy any pumpkins this year so we had to take advantage of their front porch decor.

David was an OU fan for Halloween; he just didn't know it. :) I know it's hard to see, but Ramsey is smiling in this picture. Again, we're at the neighbor's house...

We didn't go trick-or-treating, but we did pass out candy! Ramsey, the butterfly, waiting for the kiddoes... She looks so grown up in this picture!

I love October and Halloween! We had some adorable trick-or-treaters at our door: a mini-UPS man, a whole family of vampires (parents included), a doctor, a pumpkin, and so many more! David and I started taking turns answering the door and he kept getting all the cute little sweeties. What did I get? The groups of middle schoolers without costumes. I'm thinking they're just in it for the free candy...hummm... Anyway, the past two years I ran out of candy and had to turn off the lights (terrible!). This year was so weird; we didn't have that many kids. We actually have a TON of candy leftover! Where was everyone?

Now that Halloween is over Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner! This time of year always seems to fly by! It's such a crazy, busy, and fun time! Christmas just happens to be David's favorite holiday and I bet Thanksgiving is a close second. I'm going to do my very best and try really hard not to get stressed out this year. Sometimes it's just a lot (especially for us ladies) trying to shop, cook, decorate, etc, etc, etc! Now that we have Ramsey, my goal is to enjoy the holiday season! Wish me luck!!! :)
