6 Weeks!

Yes, that's right....Ramsey is 6 weeks old! This is as close to a smile as I could get...

She's still a pretty serious baby as you can see...

That's a sweet face!

So what's new with this 6 week old girl? She's still a morning baby--that's her happiest time, which means lots of smiles! She tends to be a little fussy in the evening unless she's in the bathtub, which she still loves. Her favorite thing in the world is to be held and rocked by her mommy. Imagine that! She likes to ride in the car if she's sleepy, otherwise not so much. She hates to get dressed and cries pretty much everytime. She LOVES to sleep with her mommy and daddy at night (we're trying to break this before it becomes a bad habit!). She loves to stare at faces and lights, but isn't too interested in toys just yet. I would definitely consider Ramsey to be an active baby! She's awake a lot and loves interaction and entertainment! She also loves to go on walks around the neighborhood and the weather has been perfect for this; I hope it hangs on a little longer! She's quite demanding and gets mad fast when she doesn't get her way. We still call her Poo-Poo Girl for obvious reasons. :) Again, the serious girl...

This week we started trying to get on a schedule. Whew....easier said than done! I go back to work in 2 weeks. Luckily, I get to bring Ramsey with me; she's going to the nursery at my school. I couldn't ask for a better situation! Anyway, I'm trying to get Ramsey on an eating schedule where I can go feed her during my lunch time, plan time, etc. I really hope she likes going. There are 3 other kids in the nursery and I think she'll like watching them play. We may go visit the nursery a few times before our first day. I go back the 23rd and 24th and then it's Thanksgiving Break. I'm sure after getting up early those two days, I'll need a break!

And BIG news....Ramsey rolled over last night! She was on her tummy while we played on the floor when she rolled to her back. It was like slow motion...so funny! I don't think she had a clue what happened. Ha! I'm hoping to get it on video today! It's amazing how much she's growing, learning, and changing each week! :)
