Halloweeny & A New 'Do!

Before yesterday, my hair was so scary I didn't even need a costume for Halloween! But all that changed (hallelujah!) yesterday afternoon. Here is the before picture of my hair. I hadn't had my hair cut for over 3 months and it had a life of its own!

Before:

And the After: My bangs were the longest they had been in 5 years. I couldn't even fix them anymore...I gave up! Ugh!

Side view After: YAY!

And the back... When was the last time I brushed this mop, August?? (I love those little eyes peeking over my shoulder!)

From stringy to soft and silky! The wild beast has been tamed! :)
The Hurt Family is ready for Halloween! And a little TREAT for everyone...pictures of my precious girl!
This is her serious face...Ha! She cracks me up! She looks scared and happy all at the same time. Too funny! :)
I'm not sure what she's doing with her expression here, but it showed off "The Dimple" so I had to share...
We're excited about Halloween around here. Ramsey is going to be a butterfly! She's going to look precious passing out candy to all the trick-or-treaters. And I'm super excited about getting rid of all this candy! Some of us are trying to drop a few pregnancy pounds and the Tootsie Rolls and Smarties are not part of the plan!

Lastly....as you all know, cold and flu season is upon us. Yuck! As you may not know, an infant Ramsey's age could be hospitalized or even die from catching something as minor as the common cold. We discussed our concerns about this with Ramsey's pediatrician on Wednesday. She said if someone is sick or a member of their household is sick they should NOT visit our home. She said visitors who come to our house must be healthy and every member of their home must be healthy for at least 2 weeks before coming over. I know this is a pain, but there is nothing more important than our baby's health. It definitely takes a village to raise a child...a healthy village, that is! Ramsey is extremely blessed and so lucky to have so many loving people in her life and I know we'll all do everything we can to help our girl thrive! :)

Love the new 'do! Saw Ramsey's announcements at your mom's studio today. They turned out great!
